How to Report Infringement on Amazon
Amazon infringement is usually a seller lifting your product photos or listing copy (copyright), or using your brand name or logo to sell knockoffs (trademark), and Amazon treats these as separate report types you file individually.

Step-by-step process
Pick your path
No trademark or not enrolled in Brand Registry: use the public form. Registered trademark and enrolled: use Report a Violation inside Brand Registry, since it's faster and unlocks more tools.
Select the correct violation type
Copyright, trademark, and patent are each filed as separate reports. Amazon does not let you combine them, even on the same listing.
Provide the ASIN(s) and evidence
Include the exact ASIN of each infringing listing, proof of ownership, and a description of what's being infringed.
Submit and track
Brand Registry members can track status inside the portal; public form submitters are notified by email.
Common Mistakes That Delay This Process
Amazon reports are most often rejected or delayed for three reasons: citing the wrong ASIN when a listing has multiple size or color variations under one parent listing, submitting proof of ownership that doesn't clearly match the infringing material, or filing a copyright report when the real issue is actually brand-name confusion, which Amazon treats as a separate trademark report. Because Amazon does not let you combine report types, mixing them in a single submission is one of the most common reasons a valid complaint stalls.
If Amazon Doesn't Remove the Listing
If your report doesn't result in removal and you're confident the content infringes, you can escalate by resubmitting with more specific evidence, or by pursuing the matter through the Copyright Claims Board or federal court if the case involves significant losses. Brand Registry members also have access to Transparency, which serializes physical units to help prove counterfeiting in later disputes, and Project Zero's self-service removal tool for high-confidence match cases. For sellers using your content without permission across multiple ASINs, documenting each instance separately strengthens a pattern-of-infringement case if you eventually need outside enforcement.
